Driveways can be tricky to choose — Resin Bound, Block Paving, or Concrete: which one would you go for and why? Share your experiences, costs, and maintenance advice for Surrey or London homes.
For me, Block Paving usually makes the most sense around Surrey/London — it’s durable in wet weather, provides a nice look, and if a few blocks shift you can replace them without big cost.
Resin Bound looks very smooth and stays relatively low‑maintenance, but tends to cost more upfront and needs excellent drainage prep. Concrete is often cheapest to install, but over time it’s more likely to stain or crack, which can add to upkeep.
Has anyone compared how these materials have held up after a couple of rainy winters or heavy use on their driveways?
